I have been visiting this support group, without joining, for a few months now. It has helped me greatly. It has been a great tool to find out that I am not alone in what I am feeling and experiencing.

I lost my Husband August 22, 2014 one week after our 36th wedding anniversary. We had married young and we were each others best friends. He passed very unexpected at the age of 54. He did not have any health problems and took very good care of himself.

We have 2 grown Son's, 1 Granddaughter, 3 Grandsons and now 1 more Granddaughter on the way due in Auguast.

I ad s to leave our home in CA and move to our other home in CO. I could not keep both houses. Being in CO brought me closer to my Son's and Grandson's.

My Husband, Tim was from MN so I choose to have him buried there. I have has regrets, because now I can't just go to the cemetary and talk to him.

Hi Sandi My sincerest sympathy for the loss your hubby. My hubby Don passed 3-6-14. His wishes were to be cremated and scattered, which I will do on our anniversary in July. When I picked his remains up, I knew the ashes were just the empty shell left behind when his spirit left his body. And when I scatter them, it will bring a finality of To Death to us Apart. But everyday since he has past I've talked to him, You my dear will be able to talk to your hubby anywhere anytime, He is with you and will hear you, no matter where you are, he is in your heart and memories you made together forever. I'm sorry for your loss and welcome you to a place where you can get support and encouragement. I've been here since my husband passed in 2007 and my life has changed dramatically since.

You are not alone in your loss and I learned much with sharing my thoughts and challenges here. Sharon

Sandi, I'm so sorry for your loss. Do not feel bad because your Tim is in NM. My husband donated his body so there was no service & no grave site. But I talk to Michael all the time.He's in my heart ...where he belongs.

I am sorry for your loss, glad you decided to join us here in the club no one wants to be in. My husband Cliff died unexpectedly at 55 - of a heart attack - and I know how hard it can be. He is buried here in Florida, but I have moved to England for my new life, so also understand what it is like when you can't go to the cemetery anytime you feel like it. I do feel Cliff's spirit with me wherever I am, and remind myself his soul is free to soar wherever he likes now - that angels have wings for a reason, right? Some days that helps...
