Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Please know that even though this the hardest thing you will ever have to do, you will get through it, it just takes time. The memories and love that you shared will always be there to comfort you even at your lowest points. I know it's not the same but it's what's left and you will realize that your love and that connection will never end. With that in mind, that love, connection and his protection will see you through someday back into the light.
His body may have worn out but feel comfort that he got to spend the rest of his life with you. He will always be with you along this new journey, talk to him and look for his signs.
I'm glad that you found this forum as it has been a life saver for many of us. Read, write and learn.....you are not alone and we all understand.
Warm hugs to you and may you find strength and courage among us and within yourself.
