This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
In January I nominated Jim Schwartz the man that started our Widow Support Group here in Phoenix as my Hero ... Our local NBC station has a segment called Hero Central, they are airing the story tonight at 10pm I will post the link for you all to watch when it becomes available , I hope tomorrow ... I wish you all a very Blessed Easter and look forward to meeting many of you in June ... VIVA LAS VEGAS ... I am so hoping this story serves 3 purposes , 1 to educate the public about how we feel and what we go through. to also reach the many Widowed who do not know about our support group in hopes more come to our meetings, lastly to thank Jim for all he does for the Widowed ...
I agree that Jim is terrific and is helping so many people who are hurting! And he has brought us together to share our lives and to become friends.
