Hello. I'm Sharon. My was community leader 10 years ago after finding the are from you. I found a way to live again and surprisingly discovered I could find happiness again. I fell away from you friends here, but I never forgot what I gained. Through the support here I gained confidence to enter the world and actually met a man to share my life. I awoke to find him not breathing in 2017.

I've roamed around with no direction and no desire to exist. I'm ready to join the world and want to spend my time with you growing in myself and encouraging people to follow their hearts desire.. This time I am committed to find the person I was and can be again.

Hi Sharon. I remember you. You helped me a lot when I joined in 2013. I too pulled away. I log in occasionally but rarely comment. Seems like there comes a time when you need a breather from the very fresh grief here. I too have found another love. He is older than me with health issues so I dread the very real possibility of being a grieving widow again someday. Having walked this path I know it takes at least 3 years to kinda pull yourself together. Isn't it strange how employers and even family thinks you should be "over it" within a matter of months? Only those of who have been in our position can truly understand. This time around I think more about how will I carry on without him? We have 1.5 acres and I doubt I can take care of it by myself. Also the house turned out to be a lemon. Prior owner hid many problems that the home inspector didn't find. How will I ever be able to repair everything by myself on my income. These thoughts never plagued me before but they do this time around. Anxiety often gets to me but I take time to meditate and affirm that I can and will handle whatever life dishes out.

Glad you are back and ready to embrace life again. You were so inspirational to me when I found this site after losing my husband in 2015. This is a much needed place for so many. Sincerely hope you are doing well. Marybeth

Hi Sharon. Welcome back. Grief is a journey that is not easy to take. I’m glad we meet again. The most important thing is to take good care of yourself. This too will pass.

Hello Sharon i remember you I joined 10 years ago after my wife pasted away and met many great people here .I too fell in love with someone she was also from this group .I then moved from Pittsburgh PA to Sydney Australia to be with Wendy . Sorry to say I am back for the same thing Wendy found out the first week of January of this year that she had terminal liver cancer and on the 10 th of April good friday Wendy pasted away .for some reason this time around it feels worse I dont have anyone here I am so lonely and feel like Im in a foreign country
