Just wanted to say hello, my name is Robert. I just found you all a couple of days ago. On behalf of my son and I I would like to thank you all for the help and insights you provide thru these posts I have been reading. I lost my Sharry six months ago this week. I feel like someone ripped my heart out. I don't know what it's going to take to survive this, but I will for the sake of my son. We all have to finish the race, no matter how weary we become. We owe it to our spouses, who are just waiting at that finish line, ready to wrap us in their arms. I run half marathons and 10ks, and there is always a point as you reach the latter few miles when your body screams for you to slow or to stop, but desire for the strong finish lights that fire in your eyes. Knowing our loved ones all want us to finish strong will help us keep running toward their arms. Love to you all from Matthew and I.
