I knew having the stone placed would be hard. It about brought me to mu knees. Seeing our names chisled in stone makes it so real. It opened up the flood gate of emotions and tears. I did my best to hobo him and pray he's looking down and saying thats awesome.

Yes, I think that was the toughest day because I was all alone when I first went to see Cathy's stone!

Was rough for me also, as I was alone too. 3 years later, is not so bad. My sister started crying when she saw my name on it..

My husband's headstone will be ready in about three weeks. Because of the advice of others here I will not go alone the first time.

It was so hard to see my Mum and Dad's for the first time. I brought the realization that Mum was gone. Was hard seeing Dad'a name on it knowing he was still with us and healthy but knowing because of age the date could be filled in anytime and it was 7 years later.
Ken nor I will have a headstone. Ken is with me in his urn I find very comforting and when the time comes we will be mixed together. Both kids have been told to do with as they please as long as we aren't buried.
