Today I tackled Tony's closet. Made a lot of progress. There were some tears but some smiles as well as I would find things he squirreled away. He was like a little boy the way he would find things that interested him and stick them in his pocket. As I was finishing up for today LOPA (organ donation people ) called . They are sending me info for the heros quilt. I have to submit a quilt square with his picture on it. When it is done with all the new donors it will travel the US. Although my sweet T didnt get to retire he will get to travel anyway. That makes me smile......

You give me inspiration. My husband's closet is something I have opened and then need to close, as it takes my breath away. I never ventured into his closet when he was alive. It was his private spot, like my closet. I hope I can be as strong as you when I finally decide to sort through it all. God bless you!

Momster18 this Friday the 9th will be 4 months that my love passed away. I was able to do it because someone is making me a memory quilt from his shirts and jeans. It was not easy but I got thru it. With some tears and a few smiles along the way.When the time is right or should I say better you will be able to do it. Take your time .

Me too Momster18. I think it is the only way for any of us to make our way down this road we are on. We have to connect with others who have gone down it before us. That is where we will find our hope. May your today be better than your yesterday .

It is also 4 months for me since my darling died tragically on holiday but I cant seem to heal at all,in fact it feels worse,like delayed reaction.Sleep is impossible and life has no meaning without him.After 30 years of marriage we were so close and did everything together.Now its complete loneliness and isolation,scary and negative about future life.
