I have been working in my garage today.  I also washed my car - sort of.  I need to buy a new sprayer, but the car's cleaner than it was before.  I also repaired my backyard gate, by hammering the rusty nails back in.  I hired two men to transport a large shelf from my storage unit on Friday if it doesn't rain.  A neighbor boy came by while ago, and I have asked him to help me do a few things next month.  I plan to donate to a fundraiser garage sale and then have one of my own.  My goal is to get all my stuff in one location again.  I am heating up leftovers for dinner and adding a small baked potato.  I am tired, but it feels good to have accomplished a little.  I have even thrown a few things away over the last few days.  Now to put some towels in the dryer and settle down with a good book.  Perhaps I will sleep well tonight and not think about the rest of the elephant.  Tomorrow night I plan to go to a fundraiser dinner at a Mexican restaurant I've never been to before, but I don't want to sit alone.  I have to find out who's going and at what time.
