Grandkids and Ghosts

I've had my grandkids over the past week. I only get to see 2 of them about twice a year, so it's a treat. Their ages are 11 to 7 and there are 6 of them, 5 boys and 1 girl.

They are fascinated by ghost stories on TV, and started taking pictures in the house, and seeing things in the photos, saying it was their "Gramps" I told them, that he was watching over them, but his spirit was in heaven. I'm not sure if they believed me or not, but it did bring up some odd feelings. I don't know if it's good for them to try and find their Gramps, or it's just what they see on TV. I know they miss him, but it was sad, to think they want some kind of sign from him.

The week otherwise, was great. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Emma, my 3 year old was running in the hall one day. I told her to stop running and she said she was chasing daddy. I will not discourage her in this department.

Emma, my 3 year old nephew has seen my husband a few times. One of the times, he was in the backyard by himself and when he came back in, my niece asked him, where were you? and he said: I was outside with uncle Joe. I believe children have a stronger sixth sense and can see spirits in form, where adults may able to feel the energy but can't see the form. Their "Gramps" is with the grandkids and if they seek a sign, they will get it and it will be a beautiful experience for them. Hugs!

Emma, don't trouble yourself too much. There is, unfortunately, a lot of silly shows on TV lately about Ghosts and hauntings and the like. Most are not fit for children, but children seem to see so much we don't want them to.
My advice is to keep sharing about Grampa being in heaven and perhaps notify their mother's and father's about this in case they become preoccupied or scared once they get home.

I, like LovesJoe, do believe that children have a stronger sixth sense. I've had two grandchildren born since losing Rod (and have another on the way); someone told me to watch the babies for the times when they look past you as if watching something, or someone, over your shoulder. Some people say that babies can see the people we have loved and lost until they learn to speak - I wont argue with any of that.
