Got a scare last night.

Last night I was surfing the net and I kept hearing a noise I went and got one of my roomates to first of all earse my husbands cell phone and she was hearing the same noise I was hearing so she heard it twice and went and got her boyfriend to see if he could hear the noise well he did not hear anything. About 10 minutes later we heard a knocking at the front door I went to turn on the light and no one was there and our front gate was locked so my roomates boyfriend went out to check it out and there was nothing. I am wondering since my husband died suddenly is his spirit in the house?

Wouldn't be surprised. Roby was around for a few months. Messed with the lights and the lamp shade on his side of the bed.

I don't think he's around anymore, I sure miss him.

Just talk to him, ask him to stop scaring you.

When I first lost my wife I had dreams that just felt real. In these dreams we would just be doing what we normally did, For a while it was like she wasn't really gone. But then I quit having them as much and reality hit me like a sack of bricks.

Yes, very possible. I had to read a few previous posts to find that your husband also just passed his birthday. So ,there may be emotional points in time that bring him closer. You said you celebrated his Birthday together. He may be just getting there for a date night with you. Make him a cake and wish him happy birthday. Leave a piece out for him over night. We have been taught that smell is also how they enjoy food since there is no more normal stomach. As long as there are no aggressive acts, he may just feel the pull to spend his birthday the we he enjoyed it. I know my views may seem different , but for my family it's completely normal. We have always been taught, that the spirit takes four days to travel to the greatness beyond, it stands to reason that the journey coming back would be the same. So the timing is right. Hugs to you, The year of firsts is very hard.

I agree.... a wnole lot has happened to me. some good , some bad. I had the door knocks right away. My husband ddint' die suddely or in my house. But this was home.

It could be. I am not someone particularly perceptive or spiritual but I have to admit that just after my husband died (he died quite quickly and unexpectedly in hospital) I was scared by a few happenings at home. The lights kept coming on and off for a few days, a few small kitchen electric appliances fail me and a picture we have had on the wall for years dropped neatly to the floor. All these happenings unexplained.

I was scared, first then I did get annoyed and I spoke to my husband because somehow I felt his spirit was around then. I asked him to stop playing with the electrics because it was scaring me and after that it did stop.

I do not feel my husband's spirit is the house around anymore but I keep talking to him.

Samantha, do speak to your husband it will be ok.
