Every day I read one or more pages of my favorite book about grief!
It is very helpful! The title is "Healing after loss -daily meditations for working through grief " by Martha Whitmore Hickman.
it cost only 10 $ and has been very comforting to me !! Please check it out!! Peace.Ann

Thank you for your post Ann. I just read the sample pages from the book at Amazon and placed my order. I'm coming up on the two-year anniversary of my wife's passing and it's a tough time. I wish you the best.

A friend gave that book to me...she lost her husband 2 months before I did. I love it! My mom was having a very difficult time with my husband's death as well, so I bought her one. She reads it every day! Great book!

I read that book also and find it quite helpful. I have another one that is equally helpful, but am at work so I will add title later. I have read at least 10 books with the criteria the author needed to write from experience not from the head only.

The other really good book for short 1-2 pages is A Time to Grieve, meditations for healing after the death of a loved one
by Carol Staudacher.
Both Healing After Loss and this one can be read over and over. Both are very helpful as is Seven Choice by Elizabeth Harper Neeld I need to read Seven choices again especially the last several chapters---I wasn't far enough a long to grasp that I could actually find daylight after loss shatters your world.

Missingt - I read the book every morning and again in the evening. I too find it very helpful. Did you notice how it didn't have anything for February 29th. I was a little upset. :)
