You guys have helped me so much in encouragement to go to Virginia (from Florida) to visit Joe's beloved, large, Christian family. I haven't seen them since he died December 18. I was fearful of the emotions I would feel, going back alone. Well,thanks to your support, I have bought my airline ticket to go next month and be there for our anniversary date as we did every year. The fall leaves in the mountains are breathtaking. I can't wait to feel the hugs of those who love me there. I am no longer afraid but looking forward with excitement. Joe would be so happy that I made this decision. He had begged me to keep in touch with them because they love me like their own. We spent every vacation during our 14 years of marriage going to Virginia to be with them. We never wanted to go anywhere else but "home" when we had time off. Anyway, THANKS SO MUCH for your encouragement. It made a big difference in my life and has given me courage where I earlier had none.
