I've had so many bad things happen in the last few weeks - I feel cursed. Haven't had a working shower in 8 wks, (even tho I have 2), one working toilet (even tho I have 3), out of 4 sinks only 1 without some kind of problem - and none are clogged. I could go on and on - but - won't. But - I feel at the end of my rope - 2nd job no hours for 2 mos (never happened before), not getting summer job like I expected, financial aide I was expecting for son in a $1700 check any day now - learned I won't get - so - said I wasn't going to go on and on but I did. I won't even begin to mention the problems with kids - one in particular.

Had one nice weekend last week -went with 2 friends (coworkers) to a house in Wisc that one owned. I was rather jealous listening to them talk about future vacations, husbands, etc. but - it was ok.

But on the drive up got a call from my 16 year old daughter - she just got her license 2 days before and had the car for the weekend. For the first time she was able to go alone to the cemetary where her father's ashes are. She called to say that while she was there she asked her father for a sign that he was still with her.

She got back in the car and put her CD in and instead of playing any of the songs she had downloaded it played my husband's favorite songs. This was a CD that songs were burned (is that the right word?) on and I don't know how to do that, and her father didn't even know how to turn on the computer (I'm not exaggerating) - so - how could they have gotten there. She certainly didn't put them on and she didn't know how they got on what was HER CD.

Everything seems so negative - but I'd like to think it is another sign. Guess I'll make it thru this other stuff someway or another.
