Getting to grips

Hello everybody. So glad i found thid blog. I am from a small town in south africa. My husband of 21 years passed away on 19 march. Complications after operations. Total shock. I am 43, he was 45. 2 kiss, 18 and 20. How the hell must i cope and mive on?!. I am not mad at him, he fought till the end, pain too much. I am srruggling with my faith though. So many questions. Some good days, nights a total nightmare. I knowbi am not alone in this, so many people lost the love of their lifes. Just dont understand......

Hi Lielie. I am so very sorry for your loss. I am glad you found this place on the Internet. I lost my husband eight months ago and this blog has really helped me a lot. Please come back often.........we are all here for you.

Hi Lielie. Sorry for your loss. I lost my husband 12 weeks ago. The first thing I can tell you is to take care of yourself. Keep yourself hydrated and eat a bite or two even if you are not hungry. This is a place of comfort to many. I do not know if we are really ever to understand it is all a part of the process on this journey we stumbled onto.

I'm sorry for your loss. My husband died recently too (April 8th) so I totally understand the rawness and shock of it all. I'm glad you found this group. Reading all the posts does help.

Doesn't matter where we're from, rich or poor, the color of our skin, male or female, or even our native tongue, conservative or liberal, not even our religion. Dying is part of the human experience. And where one dies, the one left behind grieves. And so grieving the loss of the love of our life is a part of the human experience of some, but not all. We are here for you. You will never be alone. I am so sorry! Sudden death is so difficult and I appreciate what you are saying about struggling with your faith. In a similar situation, I learned if I was hurting, the Lord didn't expect me to cover it up with a plastic smile. I told Him I was hurting, and what I was really thinking and feeling. He seemed to show up in my dark times. Friends and family were invaluable, as well, especially those who also had experienced loss. Praying for you today!
