I think of all the times it was just him, me, and that moon. I saw the moon tonight, and the last few have been full and beautiful. Now I just picture him '" flying to that moon" as I know he would have wwanted to, and the last thing I said to him as i told him "See you later", was to let me khow what life is like on jupiter and Mars. I think he does on these night, let me know.
when you look at that moon, think of those times with your sweetie, and the wonderful memories the two of you created. then you will have the warm feelings of that rare wonderful love. I know it can't hug you physically, but the hug can be felt by his spirit holding you as close as ever.

My special joy was those beautiful orange and gold sunrises and sunsets. Hubby would often call from his work site to ask if I'd checked out the sunrise yet. I would scurry outside and wonder at the beauty of it.
The gorgeous sunsets would mesmerize me as well. I would stand at the window and rest my arms on the sill, loving the painted sky that loomed before me.
I think we are hard pressed to find any man-made beauty that would match God's glorious artwork.
Thanks for the lovely mental picture of your neat camping experiences. I loved your post. TJ
