Today was our support group meeting. It was a good meeting with almost all of the group gathering. We had 22 members and some who had not been were welcomed with hugs and kisses. The first question for comment was "How was your Holidays?" One who had lost her husband and daughter cooked side dishes, (she is 86). Another who lost her son ( a chef), daughter cooked for the first time. Some went out for dinner. But we all agreed that the holidays were good. Another question was "when your energy returns and you want to move forward, what do you dare to do?, One of the facilitators asked how we felt about bringing a picture of our loved one to be added to a collage. It will hang on the wall at the church as a memorial. Also I took pictures of the group and I am making a collage of the members to hang alongside our loved ones. We meet once a month and whenever we meet, no one is in a hurry to leave.
