I attended a funeral today at the same church.... I wore the same dress.... ti was the same pastor.... I had the same feeling of sadness....
For some reason, it gave me comfort. It brought back memories of his funeral and me being at the front with my 3 kids. And I knew what people saw. They saw me being strong for my kids and comforting my kids and praising God and just being the best I could be.
It wasn't me up there today. It was another widow. I felt for her. I know what it feels like. I know how numb I was and the fog I was in. It was hard. I was sad. But, it wasn't bad. It wasn't impossible. In the end, I was glad that I could be there for her and her family.

I am attending a memorial service for bereaved families in the church where my boyfriends funeral was today, I feel really nervous as it'll be my first time there since that day, I really don't know how I'll feel once I'm there but I just hope it won't be too bad
