Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I hope your day will include time for you to remember special times you shared----
Hugs to you, Lauri

You will get through it for Matthew, it's never going to be the same for either of you, but you will find new ways to celebrate and remember Brian. We had our first Fathers Day last year about 6 weeks after Ric died, I remember we released balloons from the place where Ric always took Thom on fun days out. We can't do that this year as we've moved, but we made a chocolate cake yesterday to celebrate, and we are taking some sunflowers to the cemetery, feeding the ducks, and then releasing a balloon later. Thoms also making daddy a card. We are going to visit my dad later too. I was going to take Thom for dinner in a restaurant but it's too painful to see all those fortunate kiddies that still have their daddy's. I hope you do ok today and make the best of what you and Matthew can. Hugs to you both xx
Just as I believe that brian will get your's and Matthew's, along with every thought you have for him today.
Wishes for peace and love to both of you Diane
