Last summer as Anne was fighting cancer, I was on the mower listening to music and that song started playing. It was a favorite for me from back in the day. I guess I never really listened to the lyrics. I stopped and listened. It hit me that I could be saying those words one day. Tears ran down my face.
Now it is reality and I would truly give away my home, money, and belongings to have Anne back and healthy. Man I miss her.

It certainly does say it all. I still feel like that every day. What I wouldn't give to have him back.

I have said that to my daughter so many times. I would rather have nothing and have her back. Those words say it all. Gerald

Those words hit the nail on the head. I just got back from a walk with my dogs and was talking with Eric as the dogs played, I said almost these exact words to him today. As I cried and asked him how i could continue on without him a blue heron fly right over my head (these birds have a lot a meaning to us) then a another blue heron and a hawk, side by side flew over me AND another hawk followed right behind. It made me cry harder and smile. A sign from Eric that he is there with me. I BELIEVE.

Yes, a wonderful song. It describes so much of what feel.
