Yes Ruth, seems to me this group has saved my life. A whole lot of nice loving people with our broken hearts in common. It is so nice to be with people that understand, not necessarily what we do, but the pain that seems to dictate our responses. You also are very much appreciated here ~~~ Scottie

It's funny, my wife would flip out if she knew I was on a site discussing all this. She and I were the kind to never use our cell phone to text but always just called. She never even learned how to turn the computer on at home. It was her own protest against the cyber world. Linda was the kind that after leaving a waiting room full of people she would know at least half if not more of them.
But at the same time she would also appreciate that I had found a place where I could find some support here on earth with others who are where I am. I also am very appreciative of everyone here and also their willingness to take that leap of faith and trust others.

Oh Ruth, you are JUST like us...we cry, we laugh (trying to do that more)...we understand...thanks for being here with us.

Our choices for survival in this life are very few. We either pick ourselves up and dig in or melt into the ground and become big puddles of nothing!

I choose LIFE and LIVING!

There are days that I wish I could just crawl right back into bed and not go out and face the offerings of the world but, I'm a working gal and I'd surely lose my job which I think is saving my psyche and me right now!

On more than one occasion this site has given me the strength, resilience and courage to keep moving forward.

Ruth...your post got me thinking...why is a family a family? Because what they all have in common is shared DNA...all of us here have our broken hearts in common, all for the same reason...I guess that's like family, ain't it?

In the recent times this site has helped me so much I can't even begin to tell you...I have gained so much insight into what I am doing and the advice is over the top...I am so glad that I found it and everyone here...We are all travelling the same sad and sometimes lonely road but at the end we all end up at the same place...
