I am envious of those folks who are so close in proximity that they can get together for a week-end or even maybe a meal. Are there any of you who live in north Florida or south Georgia? I am interested in maybe getting together like the others do. If you are out there and are interested, would you please post? Thanks!

I, too, would love to be able to get together with other DL friends; however, I actually think I'm the only one on here from Tennessee so I guess meeting here will have to suffice. I'm also on Facebook if anyone wants to be friends there, too. Paris, Tennessee, which is where I love, is about halfway between Nashville and Memphis and they are both approximately 2-1/2 hours away. My town certainly doesn't have anything to offer.

anyone up for a cruise out of Miami? - the Epic, with single cabins and a meeting room? Take a look - it's a nice deal - Norwegian Epic - the cabins that only charge single rates are '' Studios ''.

To those of you who have responded, please give me your thoughts on a destination. We have discussed Panama City and Pensacola (for beaches). However, there is Callaway Gardens in south Georgia that is wonderful. Any other suggestions? One main goal I would have would be costs. I want to keep it low as possible so as manyas possible might be able to meet with us. What are your ideas?

I would consider joining you, but it depends on date and location. The Gatherings are a lot of fun and a great way to meet some of our on-line friends. It's a pretty fair drive from Ohio, but I think it might be doable. TJ

Depends on the dates. Virginia is a long haul without another destination in route.

Clshaller: I know where paris, Tn is! I have been there a few times.!

I am originally from Trigg County area (Cadiz) of Kentucky and we used to take drives through LBL and end up in Paris. And I love the Bobby Ann Mason story that ends up at the battlefield in Paris.

I am south of Lousiville, Ky now.

I'm in GA - the Atlanta area, so S. GA or N. FL would be doable. Just keep us posted. Thanks for the idea !!
