Today has been simply horrible. I have been in because of the rain, and have not spoken to a single human being. Texting does not count here. I feel like I have so many tears built up inside me that i am about to have a meltdown or a total wash out. I am going to try to do a simple task on my computer to take my mind off my woes. Yesterday I got a letter from a collection agency from a 1993 debt - Fingerhut. I would love to pay their reduced offer, but I just don't know if I can and still go on vacation. I am thinking about selling my Buick. It has a leak on the driver's door.

Don't pay. They lasted this long. Isn't there a statute of limitations for something like that?

to all the widows, if your husbands had unsecured debt to which you are not a guarantor or signatory you may have no obligation to repay such debt

I live in a community property state so his debts are mine now. I am still paying on a adjustable bed that he bought. I wish I didn't have to make that monthly note

Thanks guys. What happens in Oklahoma stays in Oklahoma? This was Sam's bad. I bought a pair of fringed boots, and he took advantage of the card. Seems like it was in both our names. 25 years ago - amazing that they are that desperate.

My computer project didn't do so well; sometimes online forms are a royal pain. They wanted to charge me $6 a month for some app to send the order form directly to CHAMPVA. $6 a month to get free meds? Come on. I finally got a form that would let me type out some of the info, and then I filled out the rest by hand and mailed it. Also my printer is about out of black ink. Dennis would say, "That's as good as it gets."

if you are eligible for champva contact them directly, benefits usually to spouses and widows of desceased or totally disabled veterans

I've had CHAMPVA for almost 7 years, and all of a sudden it's invalid. My Medicare isn't effective till May 1. I just talked to someone at CHAMPVA a few weeks ago, and he said you could have multiple insurance companies. I am not sure how I ended up with state medical insurance; I haven't used it, and I doubt it's even valid. What a mess and a set back!

when your eligible for medicare, champva takes a secondary position but still pay 100 pct of your deductibleand pay for treatment that medicare wont
