I think we see the world differently from the average person, and thus may as well be speaking a different language. Often there are no common reference points for people to understand what it's like.

Yes, I went to T-Mobile to get my son a phone plan. He lives in another state and is going into a halfway house. He needs a phone to find a job. Anyway, I had gone into the store a month or so ago and told them the situation and specified that he needed the OKC area code. They said okay. Then day before yesterday I called the store and asked the same question. Was told yes, they could do that. So I go in and go through the process, paid for the activation. When she hands me the SIM card it has MY area code with a number written on the front. I say, "Wait a minute; you said..." Then she tells me that because he's in another state, someone down THERE has to take his phone into a T-Mobile store and change the number. I'm like, "Why didn't you say that to begin with??" His dad requires a stick of dynamite thrown under him to do anything that major... It's just things like that that irritate me'

I have realized that since i’m Alone I talk to my cats like people and people like cats. People give me the same looks as my cats so I’m pretty sure it’s me.

A for instance...............: I call a Dr's office. I spend a good amount of time explaining my question. Then the voice on the other end says " What now"?
Perhaps I should identify myself as Mrs So and So rather than Dolores ____
