Sorry but some of those were far from funny down right crewl.
I got a kitten after Ken passed .
His name is Sir Allister Sims.he is long haired and white with orange. He has an orange heart on one hip and orange butterfly on the other. I only have to wash his bottom now and then. He is an indoor cat only.
My other cat Sir Gibson he loves to get between the cloth and plastic shower curtain.
Cats do not need to be bathed.
We did have a cat 20 yrs ago that if you drew a bath he beat you in it. He loved water.

I have to agree some of these were cruel. I love all animals but I have had mostly cats as they are pretty independent and don't need as much attention as other pets. My cats have always been indoor pets and rarely needed additional assistance in bathing. Seems they need a little help when they get really old and are not as flexible as they once were.

One of the cats we had was solid white with blue eyes and deaf. So she depended upon touch to gage certain senses I guess. But Linda would have to bath her to get fleas off at times. Her name was Princess. And we couldn't put fleas stuff on her because she had reactions when she younger and almost died. So Linda would bath her in the kitchen sink. Strange thing was when the warm water would hit her she would almost pass out we thought but she was actually enjoying the warmth of the water. Beautiful cat. Lived over twenty years.

Dave, want to apologize. I did not intend my response as any condemnation of you. Its just that one of them reminded me of how a friend of mine cat got really hurt. These are mostly funny and I do realize you intended the cat / dog posts as off subject fun. Again, please forgive. ~~Cheryl

I was enjoying these, having bathed many kitties in my lifetime (even though they are 'self cleaning' they sometimes need it). Alice, my cat and only companion anymore, could not handle it; even though if a living cat were here with here she would gladly dunk him (the catterwalling of the video was too much for the poor striped wench) but thanks for the thought!

a little levity now and then is important and pulls us out of our sadness!
