Okay so over 10 months ago on the 13/11/2016 my fiance (baby's daddy) committed suicide we were together nearly four years an I was not allowed into his funeral as they held it at his family's house I really loved him he showed me the meaning of love an happiness an now I find it hard to get out of bed everyday an I feel like I am nothing anymore I fraught so hard to help him for 2 years with all his mental illnesses that at one point I lost track in who I was trying to hurt myself so I had to do something to put a stop to it for my daughter but little did I know he'd hang himself at the age of 17 I know we were young but we went through more than anyone could think I thought if I join these groups there's people out there with similar to me an the support would be great as I lost everyone when this happened I just don't know what to do anymore help!!! Please :(

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing someone who means that much will truly drive you to your edge. Though it is very normal to feel overwhelmed, remember that this will.pass. You have a daughter who needs you and she is now your purpose to live. Please take care of yourself. HUGS

Thanks I know that I'm trying as hard as I can to fight for her she's my life an I'm her only parent she needs me plus I also fight cause I know that his family think I won't be able to overcome this it will be a long painful journey but for me an my girl I need to just gets bit much at times thanks for ur kind words hopeful44 mean allot to me I'm new to these support groups an if u ever need anyone to chat to I'm always here hugs an thanks again

Alesha2016, I'm sorry for the loss of your fiance. I too lost my husband suddenly but he did in a car accident on his way to work in June 2017. Although I may not have the knowledge of how to help you, just know I understand. I understand your hurt because I hurt too. I am thinking of you and everyone on this site. Amy

Alesha2016, you have experienced a great loss like most of us here. But you also have a great burden on your shoulder because of the circumstance of your fiance's death and I pray that you find the strength to carry on for your daughter's sake. I have a daughter myself and she is the only reason I manage to do anything at all after my husband died. You are stronger than you think, we as single parents have to be for the sake of our child. Be kind to yourself and take care of yourself so you can take care of your baby.

Alesha, you were not allowed at the father of your child's funeral? What kind of ----- is that?
I guess I went through the same thing with my husband's family. If I had listened to them I probably would not have got to see my husband's body. But I was informed by other and went to see him separately from his family. I could have actually changed his funeral services as his wife but didn't.
Are you at odds w/ his family? You'd think they would accept you because of his girl. Don't they want to be in her life ( a part of him)? My deep sympathies to you and your girl...

Vwidow yes I know they are a bunch of sick fucks mind my French.... I had my mum ring up the morgue at Charles Gardner memorial hospital an she pretended to be his mother an that was the only way I knew I could see him as day of his death they called me up (his family) saying he's dead he hung him self because of u "your a murderer" I hope this haunts u or endures u an u jump out a tree... That killed me an still to this day they say its my fault I try for my daughter so much but its so hard to leave my own house cause I'm scared there out there. I know he can never come back but I lay awake at night just wishing for him to hold me an tell me its okay..... But its not everything's changed now an I'm not one for change.... In just under a month I turn 20 on 10th November an then 3 days after. 13th November its been a year an so far time hasn't healed anything
