Good Luck!
I wish our children would understand how little we have in life now, without our soulmates, and would step in (at least for the first 2 or 3 years) and keep us included in their activities. But they have their own lives. Often when people make a move to be nearer their kids, they often end up in a strange city with not much more contact with them than before. I think staying where we have SOME happiness of our own (memories and current activities) is probably best for most people, although not all. We have to make our own lives now. I've learned that I cannot ride on the coattails of anyone else for a life. I have to make my own. That means stepping out of my comfort zone and trying some new people, places, and things.
Welcome home, Nicker, and may you find comfort where you always did, even though it is different than it was. You are HOME! YAY!! Congratulations!!
