I lost my husband of 7 years last year August on a horrible car accident. It still feels like yesterday we have two girls one 7 and another one 3.i feel so lost without him. I had all the support from my family but his family never supported me . They don't even bother to check on the kids that's what's hurt me the most.

Hello Shaz, I am so sorry that you have had to find your way to this site, but you have come to the right place.. My wife of 35 years died three months ago. It can be very stressful for you to have had his family not support you. Grief is such a long and tangled trip and it is so unfair.
Post here, it is a good place. Even though we do not know all about what is happening in your life People here understand.

Hello Shaz, I am so sorry for ur loss and I can relate to what u are feeling when his family doesn't support or call the kids. I lost my husband last year November and his family never cared too. I know it hurts but you have to move on. If not for yourself, then for your kids. I have come to understand that everything happens for a purpose. Maybe their not supporting is a way God wants to protect you from them. Cos He is the only one that knows the deep thoughts of every person. God is the only one you can trust to guide you at this point. He takes care of His widows/widowers, the fatherless/motherless and His orphans. Let Him guide you and give you the peace that passes all understanding. Remain bless.
