Thanks to all my old and new friends on DS am beginning to feel like my "old self."..............yes, know I am old in years, but not that................and no, not like my old self when my love was by my side..........the one after that...............when I knew I had the strength to live my life here on earth without him....................***

This morning, I unwrapped a book I ordered............Embraced by the Light Prayers and Devotional by Betty Eadie.......................Thought, hmmmm, don't really need another devotional.................could use it as a gift........the book was in pristine condition ...crisp,gold and burgandy..............saw a rose on the cover............Norm loved to send me roses....................and sometimes when he gave them to me with a huge smile and twinkle in his eye, I would think................oh those darned thorns to deal with now as I cut them and put them in water..............( I know that's awful but true,........... especially if I had worked all day.............) one day I would ask him to please put them in a vase before I get them.....****...never did though.......he was such a sweetheart..................

I digress.................after thinking those thoughts, I skimmed the pages and upon closer observation saw that the cornner of a page was dog earred...............and I read..............UNDERSTANDING DEATH CREATES WELL BEING.........the words on the page did soothe my spirit...................just for me?????...... add to the mix..the date was Jan. 5th, my brother's birthday who died a year before Norm............no doubt..............., will keep the book..................so I ask you coincidence..............I think not.................
