After another full day of stress trying to co-ordinate this closing and what seemed like a thousand phone calls we finally got the kids new (to them) home closed. It was a battle to the very end. I should be happy and I am but I am so tired. One of the title co. gal's I hadn't seen in months asked me how I was doing? And here came the tears. Her husband had a kidney transplant 3 months ago and thank the good lord he is doing very well. She had tears too and we hugged each other for my loss and her gain. I sat with my dear grand daughter in the Lobby since I have been to so many closings they bore me to death. The new secretary asked me how long ago my husband passed, I told her two months. Bless her heart she told me I was doing fantastic for such a short time. She had lost her husband 4 years ago as the result of a car accident. And we shared everything I am going through. She was such a sweetheart and I told her that just sitting here with my grand daughter (grandpa's girl) just breaks my heart. So here I am at 1:30 in the morning an absolute wreck again. I know my husband would love to be here to share in the joy of their new home. It has 350' of waterfront and I can just imagine him sitting there with Lola and his fishing pole. Yet it scares me to no end that it has 350' of waterfront as she is just going to be six. As you can see my emotions are all over the place. I know if I could just sleep I would feel better, until I wake up and it all hits me again. I try to tell myself he is with me, but I want to touch him, I want to cry on his shoulder, I want the hurt to stop. I feel so fragile and have no energy.
