I know there are several people in the Chicago area. Anyone want to meet up sometime in December? Maybe on a Saturday or Sunday - lunch/dinner - other ideas - see xmas sights???

I have never been to Chicago - but maybe one day. my finances are pretty bleak right now,, another pay cut coming in time for the holidays, I would make more $ at McD`s. Going to Seattle anytime in the future? There is so much to do here - I am still a tourist in my own state! G-

I think it';s a great idea! If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to have everyone here for dinner! I am in aurora not far from the city, and would love to make a dinner. They say I'm a pretty decent cook!

I've had that chocolate cake too - great!! I will definitely be there. If you live in the city and don't have a ride - let us know - we can probably arrange something. I know there are other people from the area.

I am also jealous, I had planned on going to Milwaukee for the New Year to be with a friend from high school but have had to change plans and am only goingas far as KY to be with the kids for Christmas and then back to Georgia. Have a wonderful time. Can you ship the chocolate cake....Denise
