Today is the first day of spring. Today, the iris flowers that my husband planted bloomed. Today is the 3rd anniversary of my husbands passing. I am blessed to have my family joining me today to celebrate my husband, my children's father, my grandchildren's Papa. I see the flower as a gift to us, from him. I see it as a sign of new life, for all of us. We miss him every day and he is now healed from the disease that took him away from us. I will always love him. The first day of spring always gives me hope and reminds me that life goes on but there will be a day that we will see each other again, and that will be another celebration! Thank you God, for lending him to me.
