Water Medicine - A symbol of initiation and transformation. Cleaning out negativities and distractions, and replacing them with positive energy. Joy in a new cycle of life. Being reborn after a period of seeming- death, when undergoing an initiation of transformation. Beginning a new life cycle by dispensing with negative thoughts and deeds.
A few days after his passing, I went out to feed the birds. The sun was shining against a crisp, clear blue sky and I was crying. I paused to look up and coming from my right was a "v" of snow geese, probably about fifteen, flying slowly and gently across to the south...they were so low and it was so clear that I could see the black tips on their wings. These geese have always been special to me and he knew that. Why that morning? I've seen them many times...but that morning when I needed him so badly? I think I know.
Just a couple of things that have happened since my love, my life had to leave me, and I can't help but think that someone, something, somewhere, maybe even himself, is sending these "signs" to let me know that he's okay and that I will be okay, too. We were that close, after 48 years together, that I simply can't doubt the meaning of the stuff going on around me. That's just me, but I think many of you understand where I'm coming from...and I understand about your radio, (((Mgould)))!
Glad the radio was fixed, and glad you are 'hearing in a different frequency". !!! ;-)

HUGS to all Diane
Dreamer40 - Just want to tell you something I wrote in here about a year ago. They had in the newspaper where I live a story of a soldier who died in Afganistan. His favorite hobby was duck hunting. The day of his funeral there was a procession from the funeral home to the burial site - a few miles. The paper said a flock of ducks followed the hearse in a V formation all the way. Said it was a remarkable sight.
Let me tell you that where the bathroom and table are there are no windows. There is a window in the room where the table was but it was definitely closed. The cord from the lamp had fallen on to the wooden floor making the noticeable noise (that is all I could put it down to). Yes, I had put some items on the table while I cleaned but I still couldn't understand why it took about an hour for it to fall off the table when there was no wind or anything on the table that could push it off (unless you count still objects that I had left there like a cake of soap and a bottle of detergent).
Of course my immediate thought was that it must have been leaning on the edge of the table and gravity made it fall. But it had been over an hour since I had moved anything on the table and there seemed to be no factors like wind or movement.
So I wonder if maybe it was a sign from my partner. Don't know. He used to be very particular about cleaning and would always have a go at me for never doing things properly. We have two bathrooms in the apartment and this was the one I used. He always thought I never kept it clean enough. And yes, when I did clean it that evening it was not a thorough clean. Maybe he was telling me to come back and clean it. It certainly got me thinking
Maybe the cord had been sitting on the edge of the table and it simply fell off. I will never know
