Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. This is my first as well as last year was spent in the hospital. John passed away on October ninth. It is a hard weekend for us but we are getting through.

I am sorry about your nephew. How sad for someone so young. And around the same time as your dear hubby's passing. My heart goes out to you and your family.

I had thanksgiving dinner with my children and their families. It was nice to be with the grandkids and have a somewhat "normal" day. But, oh how I cried when I got back home to that empty house!!

Hi Wendy: Happy Thanksgiving to you to from rainy South Western Ontario. This is my second Thanksgiving alone and it is much easier than last year, the memories make me smile now instead of tears.
Still a wee sense of lonliness in the air, but better than it was.
