I've done a lot of dreaming this week and can't see Ken's face.. I can see his hands we were in the car his hands on the steering wheel and then his back could see his limp back of his head and I know what he was wearing his good coat from work with the leather arms but I just can't see his face.. This morning it was a picture of him I know this is probably disturbing to others it was on the side of the retort at the crematorium and his face was burning off the picture.. I just don't understand why I can't see his face.. I wish I had a book on dreams and their meanings..
Tomorrow will be 4 weeks he has been gone.. going to be a busy day it's our youngest Great-Grandson's first birthday and I'm going out to the party.. first time I'll be in one place with people I know.. anxious in away.. I become a blubbering idiot and I don't want to ruin the babes party..
Our Oldest Granddaughter turns 22 on Monday.. She doesn't want to celebrate she said as it was the 11th of March we found out her Poppa was brain dead.. I feel for her.. She said she has been dreaming of him she hears his voice telling her all is okay and she is leanign on him close..

Oh, you are so early in the grieving process; my heart goes out to you! I remember I so wanted to dream about him, especially at first, but couldn't seem to. Finally I did. Recently I also had an odd dream also about my husband's face. He was in the casket but I took his face off and took it with me. Then I realized I could not do that, it wasn't right, so I put it back on him. The obvious symbolism to me is this: I wanted him to be with me, but then realized he had to be where he is. Maybe it was even a closure of sorts, recognizing that he was gone now and always will be. This does not mean either one of us is crazy or anything; we have both lost someone precious and we want them back. To me, wierd dreams are simply one way we work through this devastating event in our lives.

BTW, this is the first time I have mentioned this dream to anyone, and I also hope it does not upset anybody. I think it is important not to take dreams literally, but to try and find out what they are telling us.

Recently I had a dream that Travis (my deceased husband) and the friend he was in the car accident with, killed me. I was a ghost at a friends house she could see me and I had to convince her I was dead and that Travis and his friend had killed me. It was weird.

Thank you for sharing your dream with me.. Strange how our minds work when we are suppose to be at rest isn't it.. I just figure since it's only 4 weeks tomorrow I'd be seeing his face in dreams as it would be so fresh in my mind..

It's been 19 months for me, and I've only dreamed about my husband twice. I don't dream at all any more. The 2 dreams I had, I wrote down in a journal I have. Don't be concerned about not seeing his face. You know it's him, and that should give you some comfort. I'm so sorry for your loss.
