MAIN COURSE
`charred turkey burger w/ roasted potatoes
`pork roast and sauerkraut
`corned beef/ cabbage/ potatoes & carrots/ Irish soda bread
`tostadas (Tim to make chicken, beef, pork or veggie - even tho he can't remember for sure how Lyn did it...get remembering Tim!)
`fish ("some" people assure us they are fantastic fishermen...so let's see)
`burned ears (same fishermen apparently have other devilish gifts)
`ribs (maybe...she's not sure she can duplicate hubby's secrets!)
`vat o' chili & scratch made buns
`veggie beef barley soup
`cabbage roll (YUM! sign me up!!!)
`chili beef w/ cornbread dumplings
`smoked brisket w/ potato salad & a pot of chili beans
`peanuts in soda (kinda Thai/ adolescent theme...I'll give it a shot!)
`shish kebab & couscous (NUMMM!!!)

DESSERTS
`(possibly some) s'mores
`chocolatge cake w/ butter icing
`choco chip cookies
`peanut butter cookies
`orange blueberry muffins
`chocolate cream filled cupcakes

`red wine spritzers (okay, i'll break open some white wine too)

Editors note: obviously we need some more beverage options here, folks! & possibly a little more leafy, green vegetable dishes - possibly more chicken, fish, egg or cheese based entrees and a little less chocolate (AAAARGH, God forbid!!! - okay, I break out easily!) soooooo?????

The best dessert of all.....all of us spending time sharing stories about our loved ones together. Probably last all night long.
I have to admit, not an alcohol drinker so sweet ice tea with lemon. Southern style.
Green vegetables, broccoli always a crowed pleaser with thick cheese sauce.
Got to have key lime pie.
After all this maybe we need to check into a local gym for a couple of days. Or not...Who cares? Who we trying to look good for anyway...let's have fun!!

Hey Tim I was thinking all this food is going to pack on the weight but your right , who are we trying to impress anyway?
I don't drink alcohol either but I sure am partial to iced coffee with almond milk and stevia for sweetening.

How come we all havent figured out a way to have a real live widow/widower group meet up!!! I live in Oklahoma, so meeting in texas, would be fun or somewhere half way point. Sometime, some year we should have a 5 year reunion to see where we all have gone, or are at...Much love and hugs carla.. p.s. how about smores?? or cherry pie, I will bring the cherry pie... lol..

But he loved my homemade chilli, it was a crowd pleaser anywhere we served it at.

I live in L.A. and I'll bring potato salad from Canter's Deli. Or spaghetti and meatballs from Macaroni Grill.

Morey loved Vegas.......And, anything at the Bellagio would make him happy, especially something where he could watch the water fountains from.

For me, it's a 4 1/2 hour drive......we loved the drive through the desert, talking and dreaming.
