Well, here it is. The day we all live for when we are married and working. When we are left alone without our spouses, here we sit. It's a Saturday and I have not a thing to do and no one to do it with. I have watched TV until I'm sick of it. It's the only thing that talks to me, though. I should be doing laundry and cleaning up. But I'm not motivated to do a darn thing. Just blowing off steam........!

Understandable. Weekends are so important when we have our spouse or young children, but now they are a time of loneliness. Seems like we are watching the world move on while we sit alone. Take hope that you are not alone. Wishing you better days. Sharon

The weekends are sooo bad. I worked on my christmas cards today. I have no sent cards in years!! Why now? Something to do? So tomarrow will be another long day and oh next weekend will be worst. Everyone wil be doing the christmas thing so it will be a 4 day weekend!

It is bad when you are so bored you clean or send christmas cards. Not sure what I wrote in them with a few drinks inbetween.

I am about sick of TV too, I feel so lonely tonight. I have a ton of things that I need to do but I don't want to.

I ended up walking the dog, then my DIL called and asked if I could keep Bryson tonight. So he came over and we went to eat at Huddle House, then watched some cartoons. I'll even watch cartoons in exchange for his little hugs and sitting in my lap. Day was rescued. I hope you enjoyed your trip to the flea market. Ours is a long way from my house so I hardly ever go there.

My kids all came over and they put up my Christmas tree. I very much appreciate them doing that. I am very thankful to have my family.

I feel the same way. Sometimes I am just not wanting to do anything. I turn the TV on for noise only.

Today my niece and her husband came to visit. She vacuumed for me. They took me out to lunch, watched the movie Lincoln and had dinner. It was a full day. I am only three years older than they are, enjoyed their company, but felt very guilty that they had to take care of me.
