I can't read, not yet. I love to read and I love to draw but it seems that somehow I'm being "stopped", that somehow I'm being drawn to memories only.....right now.
I'm a believer in mediums and afterlife and for some bizarre reason, my focus is on right now and before. I don't mind. I think there's truly a reason that I'm being drawn to the "before" and to the now, with no distractions..
To read would take a great deal of energy and thought and I can't but I'll try later......it sounds like something I'd like and could get in to.
Roz
history of reading at least a book a week or so for many
years. After my wife passed a little over 5 months ago,
I couldn't bring myself to read the incoming mail.
But, a family member gave a book to me. The suggestion
was made that I try to read a few pages at a time and to
bookmark given pages and highlight certain paragraphs
on those pages. It has taken me three months to read
the book but now I am referring back to it almost daily.
It is named:
On Grief and Grieving - Finding the Meaning of Grief
Through the Five Stages of Loss.
The authors are Elisabeth Kbler-Ross and David Kessler.
This book has been helpful as I realize all of the things I have
been going through. I hope perhaps helps others.
