Oh amen, so why I came to this site, knew someone here would understand my joy and not think me crazy. I loved, loved, loved it.

I keep reliving a night Bill was with me recently. I was very sad and upset and then I felt his weight against me in bed. I keep thinking about it because I am sure I didn't dream it, it woke me up actually. I would like to experience it again but at the same time I am worried about how distraught I had to be for it to happen, and I wonder on his side, what it might cost him to do it. This probably makes no sense.
So I'll conclude with, I am very happy for you Living. Truly.

The wind chill here in TN is about 10. Cold in my house. All of a sudden, a pocket of HOT air surrounded me. Was here about 10 seconds, then went away slowly.. I have one gas stove at the other end of the house, and no blowers.

I had the exact same experience when my husband had first passed. I was at my sons home and woke up to feeling my husbands presence lying next to me.. My initial thought was it just a pillow behind my back, but in the morning when I turned around, the pillow was no where near me. I have asked him to please come back again so I could be comforted again while I slept. It hasn't happened again, but I am sure he is always near.

I had the same experiences soon after my husband passed. I felt his arms around me. I felt his hand in mine. I felt his body next to mine. It gave me great comfort and I miss it. Haven't felt it in a while. About 8 months. I believe his spirit was comforting me and he had to move on.

My daughter told me she was sleeping one evening and felt 3 kisses on her cheek. No one was around. Listening to that made me smile and gave me peace. I am truly happy for you. Embrace moments like that. They are truly special. Gerald

One night i know he held me, i could feel his arms and hands. That was a few months ago I pray for it to happen again every night.
But that one night gave me such peace, I think it was a real turning point for me.

That is a beautiful post and I am so happy for you.. I have had a few dreams where I am holding or kissing my wife that have seemed so real that I have awoken when the sensation is almost too real (if that makes sense).. I hope you and all of us missing our spouses can experience encounters to help keep us going when we need it the most..
