Peace - Doye (rhymes with "joy")
Hopefully, you are feeling better after sharing this...
You are not lone, it's been lmost 6 months for me here and I seem to be baksliding. I've been told that is not unusul for us at around this time frame.
My point here is, you are not alone in the way you are feeling and the feelings you are experiencing most all us have went or are going through right now. Try to hang I there, I know it's tough, grief is not for sissies, but trust me that it will get better.
I am ok for the most part when I am with others,( unless they are being kind, I lose it in the face of kindness) but when I am alone it all goes downhill rapidly,
My two teariest places are the shower and a car. Make it three and add bed.
I alternate between utter despair and brief bouts of optimism. It's so hard to make any forward progress when all you want is to go back, before this happened. I would give anything and everything to have him back, to feel loved, understood, supported, safe, optimistic and happy.
Now it's such a rollercoaster and endless nightmare. It's so frustrating that we have to experience all of it in order to come out the other side, whatever that looks like. I'd prefer to be woken when the worst of it has passed.
I know I must pass through this valley of despair but somehow manage not to be here long enough to erect a condo.
Take good care and be kind and patient with yourself.
I sold my husbands truck this last weekend and it set me back. Ive cried on and off for two days.
