At a loss

Not sure why I am posting on here some days are really hard i lost my dad in may last year and was trying to cope with it then my husband died in July of a massive heart attack I have struggled with who do i mourn today we have 5 children which look to me for strength so falling apart isn't a option being left alone at 52 is a scary thing i fought breast cancer and that was easy compared to this and looking at years alone is even worse I guess my hope is it gets easier

I'm so sorry for both of your losses. Having to experience one of such a major loss at a time is difficult enough for any of us. Having both occurred back to back and having to care for and support 5 children sounds like an insurmountable task. I'm sure this must be so very overwhelming for you. I hope you do have support and people in your life who care for you. Taking just one day at a time has helped me cope with losing my husband rather suddenly. This is a good place to read and vent and know you can get support without judgment. You do need to take care of yourself as so many people are relying on you. Take time each day to allow yourself to mourn both your husband and your father. I wish you peace and strength. God Bless

My father died, then 10 months later my husband. Plus one year later my mother died. It has been 3 years since my husband died.

So much loss in such a short time...
So many challenges, obstacles to handle...
Responsibilities that now are mine...
Cope, struggle
Ups, downs

Some days I feel that I am coping, other times that I am overwhelmed. Case in point, on Saturday I head a different noise coming from the washer:-( Called & stopped @ a local appliance store. So now what to do??? It just NEVER stops.....

Life is a changing journey, grief is now intertwined. A local hospital or church may list support groups.
Find something positive in each day
It's little steps...
Keep the faith

I understand my mother had died the year before so i lost my whole support group in a year and a half luckily my 5 children and grandchildren bring light back into my life
