Right eye was done two years ago.. It is amazing how fast the surgery it and how fast you can see clear again.
Just do everything that the doctors tell you to do before and after surgery and the drops etc.. You will be fine.. I hope you can find someone who will drive you there and home and back for your follow up appointments..
Have they given you a date as yet when they are going to do it.. Where will it be done? I've had mine done in London at the Ivey Eye Institute.. Make sure you take dark glasses to wear and you will find after you will need them more and more on really bright days..Other than that I don't know what else to tell you but good luck.. I'd have mine done all over again in a heart beat.
Hugs.
I did not have anyone to drive me, drove to the hotel and got a taxi to the doctors. Had the surgery taxied back stayed in the hotel for the day. Follow up visit was the next day. Stayed in the hotel that day and drove home the next day.
Had the second eye done about a month later.
Except for the eye being uncomfortable I did not have any problems. I did find I needed reading glasses.
Still I am very happy I had the surgery.
I have to admit I was very scared about the first eye. Second eye piece of cake. LOL
