Yes people mean well when they say that he's no longer suffering, he's in a better place, he is still with you and always will......I know this but I want him here physically. I miss him so much. I do however turn to God and he gives me signs that Craig is still watching over me. Here is another more recent sign.
It was April 28 of this year. My birthday was in two days. Of course I was thinking of a birthday without my hunka hunka. He knew me more than I knew myself and always got me the perfect gift.
I was washing dishes downstairs. I heard water running upstairs but I just thought that it was my son taking a shower or flushing the toilet. I looked over to my left into the family room and water was pouring down. It looked like it was raining in my house. I ran upstairs and saw water on the bathroom floor then next I ran into the garage to shut the water off. My son helped me as I was very distraught. I was so mad at Craig for not being there to help me and I cried. My granddaughter helped me clean up the mess. After cleaning up it didn't seem so bad. I went to bed and decided to take care of it in the morning.
I made a call to this guy but he only did drywall. I called a plumber and I decided to call our home insurance company USAA. I've never had to use them before. I spoke to my claim adjuster and he told me his name was Jason and I thought great, I would remember his name since that is my son's name. He informed me he would send someone right away to assess the damage. He was concerned about mold forming which I hadn't really thought about. Plumber came and made holes in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The drywall downstairs (ceiling and wall) was soaked and would be all cut out.
The next day I received an email from Jason, our claim adjuster. I could not believe his full name. It was JASON A. CRAIG. What are the chances that his last name would be my husband's first name, his middle initial was A and my name is Annie and of course my son, Jason. I felt so comforted when I saw that. I knew that it was Craig and he was giving me my birthday present. I had been thinking of painting and other things that needed to get done in the house. Well, everything went smoothly and I had a few extra things taken care of while the repair people were here. Our house looks better than before and I know that Craig is always there watching over me with God's help.
