Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.

I wish I could have been better able to share his passion and engage in some lively conversations. My hope is that he's now having those with Stephen Hawking.
lostmytruelove- :hugs: We're all here for you.
David had the cutest little silly song and game he played with the girls. I guess it was something his grandma did with him . He'd walk around the girls when they were babies, with my oldest he learned the signs all on his own (I taught him sign language originally), with my youngest he'd hum and sing it to put her to sleep, when she was cranky. After he died she asked me to sign daddy's song and I couldn't.
We did all sorts of outdoor activities together, rafting, skiing, hiking... but he never taught me to fly fish. I just never wanted to, he offered when we first started dating. He took my son (his step son) a few times, he'd go with his buddies.. but never me. I just assumed maybe when I got older I'd be more interested but now I'll never have the chance.
