Yep they do stay with us and in their own way they let us know they are here.

Wendy - It sounds like your family may have a bittersweet day too. My daughter is planning her wedding also. I feel especially sad for her as I have 3 daughters and he got to walk 2 down the aisle. The one getting married was always a "daddy's girl." This will keep us a little busier & something to look forward to - it is just too bad our husbands will not be there to share the day but as we know they will be there in spirit. I am sure our daughters will have a beautiful day. This is another interesting penny story - You gotta believe!!

The Dad's will be there walking down the aisle. Watch for pennies i am on another chat too many get coins, even bb's from one person's son then we all started getting them.

I found 2 pennies today packing up hubbys clothes very hard the pennies helped a lot.

I'm glad to know that Pat shared in the purchase of your daughter's wedding dress. How moving for both of you. I remember trying on dresses with my own daughter and when she had finally found 'the one", so I know the excitement that's involved. Congratulations to you all and you must be taking comfort in knowing that Pat is sharing this with you, too, even if he can't walk her down the aisle.

My nephew Kevin who was recently lost at sea was at Pat's party (memorial) in May. His Mum, my sister in law was at his house and on the table was a mug with some pennies in it..........the name on the mug was Pat.
Kevin heard about the penny story at my Mum's memorial tea, 2 years ago, his Gramma. He found a penny on the ground at the gas station on route to the tea. He was shocked to hear about pennies from heaven, especially since he had found that one. I believe. Hugs, Wendy

My daughter got married a year ago this past June, it had been a year since her father died. A man that she sees as her "adopted" grandfather, she has known all her life, stepped in for her father.
She says that she had felt her father's presence very much so at the wedding. If i remember correctly she had put pennies in her shoes and had her husband do the same thing. We had been told it was a sign of good luck.
