Well, I would love it! However, sorry you felt cheated. Frankly, I would feel that way as well, were I you. Have faith, that companion you seek is out there. I still believe, but then again I am the hopeless romantic type. ;-)

Good for you for taking the big step to go on the trip! That is hard to do. I hope you got to see some interesting places and that you met some nice people. Maybe this trip will open up some other travel opportunities for you in the future.

I think you are funny and you have a great personality. And believe me honey most men worth their salt would rather have a girl who is good- natured and funny, then one that is stuffy and vain. Youll find that guy. And like most thing in life it will happen when you lest expect to.

0 single men...depends on the age of the travelers. I can not see a guy my age going on a tour unless it involves hunting or sports. Women/girls...yes. They are more apt to go together for a vacation. I would not expect to see a man on a tour.

That kind of makes sense, you figure with all the gay population today, that's 2 more men out of the system already. Every time I turn on the tv lately I hear about a guy getting married and I find out its to another guy!
Sorry you didn't have a better or should I say more fruitful trip. I guess we are just gonna be alone from here on.

There's just more women out there. And more widows. My father at 85 has a better chance of finding a mate than I. He has his pick of women whenever they find out he's a widower. Women--well, I have my pick of all sorts of terrible men. I call them weeds. And to find the flower, you've got to pick through lots of weeds. Now, I spent my youth picking through weeds. It took years and lots of patience to find the flower. Now, I'm in my golden years and I refuse to spend it doing what I did in my youth. I'd rather take the trip with the 19 women and just have fun.

Congrats on your bravery in traveling alone. I'm hoping to do that one day.

Just for the record, I did not go on this trip to find a man. It's just that when we got together for meals, etc. the makeup of the group became apparent to me how impossible it is to have much of a chance of meeting a male friend. Just an observation. Thanks for everyone's comments!
