Last night I had a very real dream that my cell phone was ringing. I answered once and no one answered. It rang a second time and a voice said "This is Pat(my wife) how are you? I woke up and had been crying in my sleep. That never happened before in my whole life. I guess it's my subconscious sorting some things out, but it was so real and so upsetting. Just about when I think things are on an even keel this grief thing finds a new way to manifest itself.

Yes the mind can play some weird tricks, but are you sure it was a trick and not a reminder that she still exists.
I've had somewhat similar experiences.
Just my thoughts.

I've been told that we sometimes get messages in our dreams. I don't dream often, but while my husband was battling cancer, I twice had a very vivid dream that he was lost in the hospital and no one could find him. I wandered aimlessly around looking. Now I have to wonder if it was my warning to be prepared. And yes, I sometimes feel like I am wandering.........

MJ, I think it means Pat is watching over you, and she's definitely looking out for your wellbeing by asking "how are you?" Your guardian angel always has your best interest at heart.

My husband passed 59 days ago, I keep hoping I will dream about him, but it hasn't happened yet.

Everyone has their own beliefs on if love ones can contact us after leaving this earth. I believe they can and do because I have encountered many signs from my husband over the years.

Dear MJ, our dreams are reflections of our thoughts and desires... even though you think you were on even keel, your wife was still deeply on your mind, you have been pushing the grief away but it never really went away. It is normal that it manifests itself subconciously in a dream. It's your desire to hear from her again and you did...I wish I coulod hear my husband in my dream and think it was real... so far I haven;t dream about him yet, I haven;t dreamed about anything for that matter, I hardly sleep and sometimes wake up anxious with my heart beating really fast and very restless.Brain is a very complex thing. Please, take care.

I haven't been able to sleep good lately. This ,morning when I got up there was a hand print streaked across the mirror... looks like its scratched into the glass...????

I get dreams about my husband all the time, most of the dreams are like I am spending time with him and chatting about the kids and us. Strange thing is he does not say a word he just listens. I keep a journal of my dreams.

I dream every night and remember my dreams. I don't dream about my husband and wish I would.

I have only dreamt once about him since his passing 3 months ago and he didnt speak and funnily enough I cannot remember his voice maybe its early days but i wish I could hear his voice. Wouldnt it be nice if we could converse with our loved ones, he would probably go mad at me for not upkeeping his chores around the house as well as he did them. Val
