Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.

Now that I have gotten that out of the way the next thing I would like to say is that it is normal to search for answers that are not there in the hope of lessening the pain and replace it with anger . But it is very clear to me that you did the right thing deleting the account and stopped that negative behavior if the man in your profile picture is Leon because that is a picture of someone who is exactly where he wanted to be with Love showing in his eyes. That`s a wonderful picture. Hold on to what is in that picture and not what cannot be answered. Baby steps , and like the baby learning to walk , you will fall often but then once you get up with the support of those who care and love you along with the support found here, your steps will become stronger.
to survive. Miss him every day!
I still carry Mikes work cell phone in my purse. Mikes company turned the service off months ago but out of kindness let me keep his blackberry. I have to smile to myself when I remember how hard it was for those big hands to text with those tiny little buttons. It is funny what matters to us and what triggers happy memories.
Moving on with your life in no way means you are forgetting the man that you love. It simply means you are healing.
