First let tell you that I have come to understand in the last 2 years that deleting computer accounts, removing his name from documents as needed to have mine add instead does not "delete" him . The hardest thing for me to do was to delete the last voice message that I received from Mike. I kept listening to it over and over again. I knew that in order to move on that I had to delete that last message from my phone.
I still carry Mikes work cell phone in my purse. Mikes company turned the service off months ago but out of kindness let me keep his blackberry. I have to smile to myself when I remember how hard it was for those big hands to text with those tiny little buttons. It is funny what matters to us and what triggers happy memories.
