Couldn't sleep last night and ended up with one hour of sleep. And then, surprise of all, I woke up from my one hour and felt happy. It seems nothing can bring me down. I'm walking on sunshine and it feels so good after what I've been through.

Today, numerous things were said that would normally bother me. Why? Because I felt trapped. No more. The first phase of my application for an apartment was accepted. I just have to turn over my payroll checks, and I could be in my new apartment home next week. It's cute too. Just the right size if I take the 1st floor unit.

I'll never buy a condo. I've read too many negative things about them. They're hard to sell, even in an up market. I don't want to take the chance because I want to retire to another country. I've heard so much about expartriats living well on as little as 1200 a month. And I'm talking servants, nice apartments, and someone to drive you around.

Can't wait. Things are starting to look up.
