I know what you mean about music. We both loved music. I could hear my wife coming up the driveway before she got there. She always had the radio blasting and singing at the top of her lungs. It was August when I lost her and every time I start to sink into a dark place while driving somehow one of our songs will come on the radio that somehow fits the situation and I just know I'm getting a message. And death is just a transition into a different life because love transcends all.

We both loved music, when driving he would request a song and I would find it and play it for him. It took me a long time before I could listen to certain songs. It was a blessing that our taste in music was slightly different, so I was able to still listen to my genre without tears. I still am effected by some of his favorites, some times a slight smile at the memory and sometimes full blown grief.
