I am truly sorry, Anne -

What would have been my wife's 54th birthday was on
26 April and the day was surreal. The first one without
her in 30+ years.

I bought flowers for her anyway and placed them next to
some large photos of her and lit some candles for her. I
was / am hopeful she was looking down with a big smile
while knowing I celebrated her birthday.

Think some special thoughts of him while you celebrate
his birthday.

Anne, I understand, somewhat. My husband has his 2nd heavenly birthday as off may 11th... he wouldve been 54 this year, he is greatly missed, and I so wish he was here, to have celebrated many more birthdays.... but now his birthdays will be celebrated in heaven. Thank you for your kind words. . .I suspect I will have a few more moments of sadness in the next week, as I am FINALLY going to reorganize the BOXES of his things I never removed from the moving boxes when the boys & I changed apartments close to 2 years ago. . .

This May 3rd was my wife's earthly birthday. The first she wasn't here for. It is rough for certain.
